The BBC does not accept paid advertising.
Item 2
The BBC should not be seen to patronise or endorse
an organisation.
Item 3
The BBC accepts “small ads” from members for
second hand goods.
Item 4
Items in the Newsletter on future and past events
may mention the name of the venue, restaurant etc. and the
cost of the event, where applicable, but should not
contain price lists or offers of a promotional nature.
Item 5
Items may be accepted for the Newsletter and
Website from members of the BBC in the form of personal
reportage even if they contain information about
“commercial” organisations.
The promotional aspects of the report should be of
a minimal nature so as not to constitute an
advertisement, e.g. this service, should any other
members require it, can be obtained by emailing
webmaster@bordeauxbritish.com
It is the duty of the Newsletter
Editor and Webmaster to bring to the Committee’s
attention any items, which they judge may be in
contravention of the above rules.
The Committee’s decision on inclusion/exclusion
will be final.
